CAPPADOCIA ( 8 Days & 7 Nights)
Human settlements in Cappadocia started as early as Bronze Age. It is a sight of the fairy chimneys that is full of history and cultural heritage. Cappadocia has been given similar names in many other languages, some of which are Haspaduya (Old Persian, meaning “the land of beautiful horses”). The area was formed about 60 million years ago through the weathering of extrusive igneous rocks from mounts Erciyes, Hasan, and Güllü. Today the area is a popular tourist destination.
Day 1 – (Transfer & Hotels)
When you arrive in Istanbul, we will pick you up from your hotel to Atatürk Airport. Otherwise, if you desire to go to Trabzon directly from your own country, then, you should contact us to get a new quote. The price includes a two-way plane tickets to Cappadocia for two people. Once you have arrived to Cappadocia from Atatürk Airport, then we will have you have pıcked up and dropped off at your hotel free of charge. Our hotel is four stars-rated with breakfast included. But if you choose to stay at a different hotel, like five stars, then the price will increase depending on your choice of selection.
Day 2 – (Hot-Air Balloon Tour for 2 pax)
On the next day of your arrival, we will meet with you in the early morning to start your journey from the hot-aır balloon take-off site and enjoy a light breakfast and a briefing whilst your hot-air balloon is being inflated. Then, you will rise gently over the extraordinary rock formations of Cappadocia and travel for approximately 1 hour, propelled by the wind. Enjoy the aerial views of the unique fairy chimneys, and get the chance to take some incredible memorable photos. you will, then, fly back gently to the ground and celebrate your experience with a complementary glass of champagne. Receive your flight certificate and keepsake souvenir, and then, you’ll travel back to your hotel and you can spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 3 – (Cappadocia Daily Red Tour for 2 pax)
Everyday in the morning at 09.30, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cappadocia, and by 09.50am, our tour begins. We will start the day delving into the beautiful panoramic view of Cappadocia from the Goreme Valley spectacular point of view while listening from our licensed english-speaking tour guide to a brief, yet eye-opening, history of Cappadocia. You’ll experience watching another panoramic view from near the Uchisar Castle. Then we will visit the Goreme Open Air Museum which is known as the heart of Cappadocia and you are going to see the oldest rock churches with 1000 years old frescoes from the Byzantine age. After visiting the Chrisitan religious center of Goreme, we will further go to explore the Love Valley and see the highest fairy chimneys of Cappadocia with the infamous interesting mushroom like shapes. The next place is Avanos city which is one of the local habitats in Cappadocians, and it is a handicraft center with 4000 years old history. There, we’ll take a walk along the Red River and then visit these handicraft centers (pottery workshop or carpet viewing house). W’ll take our lunch in a cave restaurant where they serve delicious pottery kebap. In the afternoon we’ll head off to visit Pashabag Valley (Monks’ Valley) and Devrent (Imagination )Valley. At the end of the day we will bring you back to your hotel by 17.30.
Day 4 – (Cappadocia Daily Green Tour for 2 pax)
Again, at 09.30, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and start a new trip with photo break at the Pigeon Valley terrace. There, you’ll be introduced with a short history and geographical backround of Cappadocia presented by our licensed english-speaking tour guide. Soon after, we’ll head to the underground city of Derinkuyu or Kaymaklı and visit one of them. the next destination is Ihlara Canyon where we’ll arrive after a short 30-minute drive. Then we’ll start a gorgeous hike for 4 km in the canyon along the Melendiz River; One of the most unforgettable moments in Cappaocia. Then, we’ll take a break to stop by the restaurants spot for lunch at the canyon. The restaurants are beautiful and located on a river stream. After having a filling delicious lunch cooked in a traditional stone oven we’ll head again to Selime Cathedral by bus, then, take a short hike up to the hillside of old Selime where you will reach out to the remains of an old cathedral and monastery areas. At the end of the day we’ll drive you back to central Cappadocia to visit a local stone handicraft center. Finally, you’ll arrive at your hotel between 17.30-18.30pm.
Day 5 – (Free Day)
It’s a free day where you have lots of things to do. You are in middle of the fairy chimneys, and you can enjoy renting a motorcycle to go around and spend quality time alone or with your companion. A good tip is to go visit all open air museums which are located in the same area around your hotel, while some of them is a walking distance only.
Day 6 (Horseback Riding Tours in Cappadocia for 2 Pax)
Cappadocia, known as the “Land of Beautiful Horses” is the ideal place to explore while on a horseback. Horses have held a distinctive place in Cappadocia history for thousands of years and the unique landscapes around Goreme are perfect for exploring on a native Anatolian or Arabic horse accompanied by a real Turkish cowboy! You will travel through some of the most beautiful valleys in Cappadocia, such as Swords Valley, Meskendir Valley, Rose Valley and Love Valley. Ride on to the apple and apricot farms, or walnut trees and quince fruit trees and orchards as well as the grape vines used to produce tasty local wines. The trails wind up through volcanic stone hills passing by many beautiful fairy chimneys and churches along the way with breathtaking scenery mountain tops and unique landscapes in every direction.
Day 7 – (Free Day)
You have another free day to explore the city and go around the Bazaar (local market). You’ll be busy all day finding lots of things to do. It is a sight full of history and cultural heritage day and night located around hotel.
Day 8 – (Return)
You’ll be transferred from the hotel to Cappdocia Airport (Kayseri, Nevshehir) and fly back to Ataturk Airport in Istanbul. All the flight tickets are included in the price for two people.
